Instructions Deadline for submission of all abstracts is 15 December 2009. Any late or inappropriately formatted submissions will be rejected   General Rules and Guidelines Abstracts must be submitted in English only. All authors are required to submit their abstract(s) via electronic mail as an ATTACHMENT to the Organising Secretariat at srsasm@sgh.com.sg. Abstracts will ONLY be accepted upon receipt of registration and payment for the SRS & CRS 19th ASM. Submissions that do not conform to the established format will not be accepted for review by the Scientific Committee. The Organising Committee reserves the right to amend or change any part of the Submission Guidelines.   Abstract Content Structure the text using the following headings: Objectives Materials and Methods Results Conclusion   Abstract Format Abstracts should contain not more than 250 words of text in Times New Roman, size 12 pts. DO NOT use a smaller font size. Abstracts title must be in CAPITAL letters and bold print. Do not centralise. Title should be concise and indicate the content of the abstract. Beginning on a separate line, list the authors' family names in full, name in initials, (see example) underlining that of the presenting author. DO NOT include degrees or professional titles (Prof, Dr, MD etc). On a separate line, list the names of departments, institutions and countries. Leave one blank line between the title/author block and the body of the abstract. Abstract text must be single-spaced and justified at the left margin only. Do not leave blank lines between paragraphs. Do not indent paragraphs. Use of standard abbreviations is desirable. Place special or unusual abbreviations in brackets after the full word the first time it appears. Use numerals to indicate numbers, except to begin sentences. Section headings should appear in bold. The use of tables, graphs and other types of images in abstracts are not permitted. The abstract will be reproduced exactly as submitted.   General Rules and Guidelines for Poster Display Posters will be displayed during the full meeting. Authors are fully responsible for display and removal of their posters at the respective location. The Organising Committee will not be liable for any loss or damage to the posters during the display. Please bear in mind that the posters will be viewed from a distance of 1 meter when preparing text and illustrations.   Poster Format Maximum permitted dimensions for your poster display is AO Size - 1189mm (height) by 841mm (width) or 46.81 inches (height) by 33.11 inches (width).
